Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."
Romans 3:10 says, "For there is none righteous, no not one."
The Bible says that all men are sinners. The bible also says that God hates sin, and that men who sin can not have fellowship with God. We were born into sin and we will die in our sins. Hebrews 9:27 says, "Just as man is destined to die once, and after that face judgment."
On that day, everyone will stand before the Lord to face judgement and He will say one of two things to each of us.
"Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord"
or
"Depart from me, ye cursed into ever lasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels." (Matthew 25:41)
Heaven or hell, it's your choice.
But God loved us so much, that he prepared for us a way out of not going to hell. God wishes that none shall perish, but have eternal (everlasting) life. He gave us all a free gift that is ours for the asking. This gift is His Son, Jesus Christ, who came into this world, in the flesh, to die on the cross for the remission (removal) of our sins. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that who so ever believes in him, shall not perish
but have eternal life." All sin leads us to an eternal death (Separation from God). Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord."
It is only through the shed blood of Jesus that we can be totally cleansed from our sins. Once we are cleansed, we are a new creation in Christ, and can enter fellowship with God.
John 14:6 Jesus says, "I am the Way, Truth, and the Life. No one comes unto the Father but through me."
1 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, (has accepted Him as Savior), he is a new creation; the old has gone and the new has come." This simply means that when you accept Christ as your personal Savior, your old self, which is your old ways and habits, are gone, wiped cleaned by the blood of Jesus. Then you are a new creation in Christ. Meaning that you now have a new fresh start on life, so to speak, with Jesus guiding you all the way.
It is only Christ, who can wash away your sins. Invite Christ into your heart today.
How? By calling upon His name.
Romans 10:13 says, "Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved."
1.Admit that you are a sinner. (Romans 3:10, "For there is none righteous, no not one.")
2.Be willing to turn from sin (repent). (Acts 17:30, "God commands all people everywhere to repent.")
3.Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead.
(Romans 10:9-10, "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.")
4.Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Savior. (Romans 10:13)
What to pray:
Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sins. I am willing to turn away from sin. I Now invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior.
